If you want to be a badass and show off your home and family by flying a drone over the top of a large body of water then you should definitely make sure that your battery is charged. Sure, this guy might have saved his drone but you can see at around the 17 second mark that, what looks like either his wallet or his phone, doesn’t quite make it up on shore and chunks right into the lake.

Still though, that was some pretty impressive timing. At first it looks like he might have been considering trying to hop into the canoe and row over to save it but he quickly surmises that it’s descending far too quickly for that. Good call buddy.

  1. been there. Lost mine in a snow bank, thought it was safe until it decided it wanted to take flight. The motor were just screamed when I had to carefully dig my hand underneath and shut it down. Nice save!
