Hayao Miyazaki, the Japanese animator, director, illustrator, etc., celebrated his 73rd birthday on January 5th and to pay homage to him the Simpsons went Miyazaki-esque in their newest episode. Whether or not you’re familiar with Miyazaki’s work the Simpsons tribute is great.
